Message from the chair

As communicators, our work has impact—impact on communities, impact on business, impact on people. We inform. We educate. And those of you who work hard to maintain standards of excellence deserve to be recognized for those achievements. That’s why Capital City  Communicators created the IMPACT Awards, to recognize you in your pursuit of excellence.

Whether you work in external or internal communication, government, the private sector or the media, I invite you to submit your IMPACT Award entries and be recognized by your peers.

The awards committee worked hard to create categories that better reflect your work, based on your feedback on previous year’s categories. This year, you may compete in two divisions. Division 1 is designed to assess communication strategy. Division 2 is designed to assess communication skills. We encourage you to review both divisions and consider entering both if they fit your work product. You can read more about the categories later in this brochure.

In the meantime, think about your work this past year and the standards you seek to achieve. Then, submit your entries and demonstrate your excellence.

We’ll see you in April at our awards ceremony in Boise. I can’t wait to recognize your hard work.
