Everybody loves winning an award. But for many of us, many of the traditional competitions aren’t really a good fit. Too often they are focused on pretty pictures with no regard to strategy or they are too limiting to allow for projects that defy categorization.

Capital City Communicators’ IMPACT Awards are different. With a wide range of categories and lots of flexibility in the entry process (just a simple form and whatever supporting info you want to provide), just about any type of communicator can enter.
Last year, my firm won IMPACT Awards for an annual report and an internal newsletter we created for clients. There was something in it for everybody: My team was thrilled to be recognized. My clients liked knowing they were getting “award-winning” work. And I really enjoyed the salmon served at the awards banquet.
Win. Win. And WIN.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the IMPACT Awards is the wide range of companies and individuals that enter. Freelancers, agencies, major corporations and small businesses were all represented. And among them, writers, PR specialists, project managers, filmmakers and graphic designers won for their great work.
There’s simple nothing else like the IMPACT Awards. I hope you’ll consider entering. As they say, you can’t win if you don’t play. And even if you don’t win, there’s always the salmon.
